For our complete bike we have chosen a set of reliable components. Instead of specifying a complete component group from one manufacturer, we have chosen those parts which offer the best combination of performance and value for money.
We have chosen parts for their robustness, reliability, consistently good function and simple operation. On a bike designed for long distance touring it is important to be able to find compatible replacement parts. (Although we ship spare parts world-wide if necessary.)
Our basic model is already equipped with very high-quality components. Bulk purchasing enables us to offer the bike with the standard specification at a competetive price.
We also offer you the option of specifying the bike to adapt it to your own particular needs. One example is the disc brake option, which is particularly suitable for hard winter riding or long, heavily loaded descents.
If you want to build your Street Machine Gt completely to your own choice of parts, we can supply our framekit for your dealer to build with the parts of your choice. We fit the rear suspension and the forks and the rest is up to you.
Our accessoiries make a briliant bike perfect. You can choose from a range of well-tested parts: Take a look for example at our light system with stand light, fed by the original Schmidts hub generator 20" Version (see price list). This light system is the perfect solution for those, who are bothered by slipping generators, empty batteries and bad cable routing.
